Sales Representative - New York

The James G. Elliott Co., Inc. has an immediate need for three experienced print advertising sales professionals to build the businesses for important new publishing clients. These positions are in our New York offices.


We are seeking people who have some experience with corporate/advocacy advertising, direct response advertising, and those advertisers with a small business target.
Qualified candidates will have:

  • 3 years of experience selling to national advertisers and their agencies
  • Some experience with corporate/advocacy, financial services or direct response advertising
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Good computer skills
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Creative thinking


We offer a very competetive base salary, good commission plan (from dollar one - no cap), paid medical, paid vacation/sick time, Commuter Check Commuter Benefit Program and FSA and 401(k) plans.

Inside Advertising Sales - Los Angeles

Los Angeles office of the James G. Elliott Co., Inc. has an immediate opening for an advertising salesperson for several national publications.  Inbound / outbound telephone sale for small spacee and classified ads.  Some experience helpful.

Enthusiastic and professional telephone manner and basic computer skills necessary (MS Office; ACT! Experience helpful).  Must be organized, detail-oriented and accurate, with good written and oral communication skills.  Flexibility, accuracy, reliability and attention to detail required.

Base + commission and benefits.

We are conveniently located near the Red, Purple, and Blue Line 7th & Metro station stop.

Magazine Advertising Sales Detroit

Immediate need for an experienced print advertising sales professional to build the business for an important trade publishing client. This position is in our Detroit office.
