We are currently seeking a SALES MANAGER for our San Francisco office for Where®, the world’s premier name in travel publishing.

Responsibilities include individual revenue generation and lightly supervising local media sellers in same office, as well as being the market contact for our client publisher for issue closings and other client needs. Experience selling print and digital solutions to local clients in the attraction, restaurant, retail, and entertainment categories is highly desired.

Ideally, you will have some experience with local media (print, newspaper, radio or cable). Experience working with travel-related titles and knowledge of the travel sector is a plus. We are currently searching for local media sellers with experience selling print and digital solutions to local clients in the attraction, restaurant, retail, and entertainment categories for Where®, the world’s premier name in travel publishing, published by Morris Communications. Our current opportunity is in our Philadelphia office.

Our ideal candidates will have experience with local media (print, newspaper, radio, or cable). Experience working with travel-related titles and knowledge of the travel sector is a plus. Ability to adapt and think quickly as client needs may change unexpectedly. Demonstrated experience bringing in new business is a plus.

Primary responsibilities are:

  • Identify and prospect for new print / digital advertisers

  • Trade show preparation and follow-up

  • Advertising plan creation, development, and implementation

  • Salesforce database maintenance

  • Project management on complex advertising campaigns

  • Analytics reporting
