Media Sales Representative - New York

We have a current opportunity for an experienced print/digital media salesperson in our New York office. Our ideal candidate will have broad experience in B2B publishing, some of which will ideally be in the lab, pharma or life sciences areas.

We offer an excellent salary/commission/benefit package, terrific sales support from our own marketing and research teams, a high energy environment and a great group of clients.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 years B2B selling experience, preferably in the lab, pharma, or life science industries

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Ability to build and execute on sales plans

  • Able to forecast monthly revenue effectively to management

  • Ability to manage multiple markets, clients, proposals and priorities

  • Passion to seek out or create new business opportunities

  • Ability to meet and exceed all sales goals

Advertising/Media Sales Representative - Florida

State of Florida - Markets:  Daytona, Ft. Lauderdale, Ft. Meyers/Naples, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tampa

The James G. Elliott Co., Inc. has an opportunity for a local media seller in Florida with experience selling print and digital solutions to local clients in the attraction, restaurant, retail, and entertainment categories. This position is for WhereTraveler, the world’s premier name in travel publishing, published by Morris Communications. Our products are distributed in the markets listed above and this position can be based in any of these markets.

Ideally, you will have experience with local media (print, newspaper, radio or cable). Experience working with travel-related titles and knowledge of the Florida travel sector is a plus.

Desired attributes are a fierce dedication to the pursuit of new business, creativity, resourcefulness, independence, high sales call volume, and very high energy, all of which are necessary to thrive in our quickly growing environment.

Qualified candidates may reside in any of the markets listed above.

Qualifications:
