A new client presents an opportunity in our Chicago office for a salesperson experienced in selling media software and/or digital platform services to ad agencies. The ideal candidate will also have some ad agency background and other media sales experience as well.
The client is a large, successful European-based company that is introducing a new digital marketplace solution in the U.S. to agencies and media companies.

Knowledge of current media planning/buying/billing functions and systems

Market Manager - Advertising/Media Sales: Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta
The James G. Elliott Co., Inc. has an opportunity for local media sellers with experience selling print and digital solutions to local clients in the attraction, restaurant, retail, and entertainment categories. This position is for WhereTraveler, the world’s premier name in travel publishing, published by Morris Communications. We have opportunities available in our Miami, Tampa, Orlando and Atlanta offices.
Ideally, you will have experience with local media (print, newspaper, radio or cable). Experience working with travel-related titles and knowledge of the local travel sector is a plus.
Desired attributes are a fierce dedication to the pursuit of new business, creativity, resourcefulness, independence, high sales call volume, and very high energy, all of which are necessary to thrive in our quickly growing environment.
5+ years media sales experience
Experience working with travel-related titles and / or selling to accounts in the attraction, restaurant, retail and entertainment categories is desirable
Strong verbal/written and presentation skills
Proven success in meeting goals and building new business
Obvious creative streak
Experience and facility with essential business software
