Advertising Sales Manager - San Francisco
The James G. Elliott Co., Inc. is searching for a sales manager for our San Francisco office for Where®, the world’s premier name in travel publishing, published by Morris Communications.
Responsibilities include individual revenue generation and lightly supervising local media sellers in same office, as well as being the market contact for our client publisher for issue closings and other client needs. Experience selling print and digital solutions to local clients in the attraction, restaurant, retail, and entertainment categories is highly desired.
Our ideal candidates will have experience with local media (print, newspaper, radio, cable). Experience working with travel-related titles and knowledge of the travel sector is a plus. Desired attributes are creativity, resourcefulness, independence, high sales call volume, very high energy, all of which are necessary to thrive in our quickly growing environment.
3+ years media sales management experience

Assemble media kits, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel workbooks
Upload/find information in Box.com, Salesforce, and other places
