Advertising Sales Representative - Multiple Openings
The James G. Elliott Co., Inc. is searching for local media sellers with experience selling print and digital solutions to local clients in the attraction, restaurant, retail, and entertainment categories for Where®, the world’s premier name in travel publishing, published by Morris Communications.
Positions are open in the following markets: Atlanta, Boston, New Orleans and St. Louis. The St. Louis assignment also includes Saint Louis Bride.
Our ideal candidates will have experience with local media (print, newspaper, radio, cable). Experience working with travel-related titles and knowledge of the travel sector is a plus. Desired attributes are creativity, resourcefulness, independence, high sales call volume, very high energy, all of which are necessary to thrive in our quickly growing environment.
- 2+ years media sales experience
- Experience working with travel-related titles and/or selling to accounts in the attraction, restaurant, retail, and entertainment categories
- Strong verbal/written and presentation skills
- Proven success in meeting goals and building new business
- Obvious creative streak
- Experience and facility with essential business software
